INSPIRATION: No one can claim to be journeying with God who is not living a consecrated life. To be consecrated is to be set apart, reserved only for God. This is different from wearing a pious look to be seen by men to be holy; it is to to be sold out to God, His ways and His will. Consecrated living builds your bond of intimacy with the Holy Spirit. In essence, to journey with God is to set aside everything else just to be alone with God. Anyone living a consecrated life must be deep in prayers. Praying is not just a calling but a lifestyle. The journey with God must task your prayer life; now, we're not referring to those perfunctory, obligatory prayers said at intervals, neither are we talking about prayers laced with only requests that satisfy your needs. It refers to the kind of prayers that searches the mind of God to know His will for the moment. There're heights and depths in God that only a genuine desire to journey can lead you to. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭‭Journeying with God calls for sacrifice of time, resources, opportunities, pleasure, etc. But it builds and positions you for deeper service, greater efficiency, filled with results. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to take my consecrated living more seriously than I ever have; teach me how to wait on You, tarrying while seeking your face until my change comes. Help to love You and desire Your presence more than anything else. May my journey with You be built on a Father and child relationship, and may I never lose sight of my walk with You, in Jesus name.
