Joy Full // Proper Foundation of Love

Ben Armstrong | June 12 2022 We are creatures made to love. But what we love and how we love are eternally consequential decisions. John warns us not to love the world or the things of this world. God, the creator of all things good, is to be our guide as we learn to love others and things with a proper foundation of a love for God. It is when we seek to love things that are not of God or love things in a way that is ungodly that we lose joy. But when we learn to love the way God has intended, we find security and joy that the world cannot provide.
