Joy Full // Which Direction?

Kyle Kauffman | May 29 2022 Do we love other Christians? That’s the question John wants us to ask as we read 1 John 2:7-11. Love for others serves as the sign that God has saved us and that we are united to Jesus by faith. John gives us two polar opposites: Love for other Christians and Hate for other Christians. And then he wants us to ask, Which direction are we headed in? And in the process John shows us that we need the church in order to grow in a joyful assurance of our faith.
