Joy in Trial

Trials can make joy seem impossible, especially when pain brings shock, tears and sleepless nights. James does not ask Christians to enjoy suffering or thank God for pain. He says joy can exist during trials because God uses tested faith to produce steadfastness and make people more like Jesus. Jesus endured the cross for the joy ahead and overcame the world.
