Joyfully expecting

Joyfully Expecting with Pastor Maritza Rubiano In this joyful Advent episode, Pastor Maritza Rubiano invites us to rediscover the true meaning of biblical joy, drawing from Luke 2:10–12, Zephaniah 3:17, and Psalm 16:11. This is not a temporary emotion or a feeling based on circumstances, but a deep, covenant-based joy rooted in God Himself and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The angel’s proclamation of “good news of great joy” reminds us that joy entered the world through Christ, and Zephaniah declares that God Himself rejoices over His people with singing. Pastor Maritza explains that this joy grows as we surrender to Christ’s lordship, walk closely with Him, and live with confident expectation of His return. This message will encourage you to embrace a joy that sustains, strengthens, and anchors your soul—no matter the season.
