JP Smith says Taxi drivers need proper working conditions

SANTACO in the Western Cape says it is unlikely that taxi services would resume tomorrow. SANTACO Provincial Secretary, Ryno Saaiers said there has been no significant progress in negotiations. They held a media briefing outside their offices in Bellville today.The taxi strike was called as a result of the impounding of taxis by the city of Cape Town.
