JRPG Canon - Early Strategy RPGs

Yeah, I'm thinkin' we're back. Welcome to the JRPG Canon! Sam's project to document the opening slice of as many RPGs as possible, to talk about their game design and fun factor! This episode, Sam is joined by Bernard to discuss the opening slices of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light for the Famicom, Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention for the Mega Drive, and Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the the Holy War for the Super Famicom. This episode is the first in a re-working of the JRPG Canon concept, and they should be easier to make, more fun to write, and Nicer to record, so hopefully we'll see more of these in 2025 than we did in 2024.
