JRS171 Michael Klein
from Jeton Records Radio Show Hosted by Ferhat Albayrak
The 171st episode of the Jeton Records Radio Show welcomes Michael Klein. Originally from Frankfurt, Germany—once regarded as the capital of techno—Michael Klein has developed a signature sound defined by dark but groovy basslines, shaped by early influences from venues like Cocoon and Robert Johnson. His productions explore a wide sonic spectrum, ranging from raw and direct techno to more dub-influenced grooves and experimental textures. This versatility has earned him support from key figures including Pan-Pot, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Drumcell, and Danny Tenaglia. Known for his powerful and hypnotic DJ sets, Michael’s strength lies in his dynamic programming and sharp mixing skills. His recent catalogue includes great labels like Cocoon, Fabric, RSPX and his on BLK DRP. This episode features his recording from Sisyphos Berlin —an intense, groove-driven set showcasing his distinctive style. We’re pleased to feature Michael Klein on this month’s Jeton Records Radio Show. Enjoy!
