JRS186 Lobster
from Jeton Records Radio Show Hosted by Ferhat Albayrak
The 186th episode of the Jeton Records Radio Show welcomes Lobster, from Amsterdam. Dutch DJ and producer Lobster has established himself within Amsterdam’s underground techno scene, developing his approach through the city's rave community. His former residency at Orphic Amsterdam played an important role in shaping his DJ style, combining dancefloor-focused techno with carefully constructed musical narratives. Today, as a resident of Vault Sessions, he continues to explore a wide spectrum of techno, drawing from different subgenres, tempos and decades. Known for his high-energy, tripped-out sound, Lobster approaches DJing with an emphasis on track selection, timing and adapting to the dancefloor. His performances have taken him to respected clubs and events around the world, including Bassiani, Awakenings, Fuse, FOLD, RSO, Freedom Medellín, Ratherlost, Basement, BRET and Laster. Alongside his DJ career, Lobster has developed his own production catalogue, with releases on Vault Records, Room Trax, Warok Music and Lekke Records. Tracks such as Silver Sally, Fenris, Whispers of the Muse, Multishot and Sacrifice to Achieve reflect his ongoing work in the studio. His production process follows an intuitive approach, allowing ideas to develop naturally rather than working within predetermined structures. We’re pleased to feature Lobster on this month’s Jeton Records Radio Show with his set recorded live at Vault Sessions, Der Hintergarten in Amsterdam, on August 31st, 2025. Enjoy!
