In this live programme we discuss the work of an essential novelist in the Spanish speaking world: Juan Carlos Onetti. A somber but dazzling narrator where nothingness and life senselessness become seductive and even addictive propositions. Winner in 1980 of The Cervantes Prize for Literature and an existentialist even before the French thought of it.
