Taking a look at this story illustrates how our internal world conflicts with our external world. We can have the complete picture on the outside, but be crumbling on the inside. Each of us wages our own war with our emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Focusing on our inner struggles allows our external world to manifest itself into a more complete picture and ultimately lead us closer to our true selves.
