Jude Contend for the Truth Series III: Investigation Discovery - False Teachers

Jude gets tucked away in the Bible, but I believe that this book is more appropriate to our time than most of the other books. Jude was writing “to those who are called, loved by God the Father, and kept in Jesus Christ.” Kept is eternal security. No one can be plucked from the Father’s hands. Eternal security is assured. Verse 3: “Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” There is one faith: the faith. It’s a specific faith that’s universally accepted. I’m asking you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered. This is the known gospel that is very clearly given by all the writers of scripture.
