How many of you have ever gotten a defective product? There is this thing called the instruction manual and there are warnings all over the place. If you have a defective product you can relate that there’s nothing more frustrating than if something is designed to do something and it doesn’t. Jude is going to argue that false teachers are junk when it comes to the church—defective products. When we decipher what he says, we are going to want to heed the warning: defective product. Just like damaged goods you have to sign for from the post office, we need to be able to discern damaged goods for what they are.
