How do we contend for the faith? Jude is the half-brother of Jesus. He’s also the brother of James, a half-brother of Jesus. But more than that he’s a servant. He’s talking to us as fellow believers more than as a half-brother of Jesus. More than wanting to talk about our common salvation, we want to contend for our faith. He explains who we are to contend against. There are those that are out there that are teachers, but the spirit of God is not in them. They might look good on the outside, but are not on the inside.
