Judge Declares Prediction Markets Legal in US

Or at least...they're not illegal based on the CFTC's arguments. A Judge has rejected the CFTC's appeal to keep Kalshi from posting a presidential election market. The decision has led to numerous platforms coming online almost immediately. Plus, the SEC's Head of Enforcement heads out.
