Judged By Men Or By God

Access to preaching does not equal access to Christ. You have to respond to the preaching by faith. Who you are going to trust is who will become your judge (God vs man). You cannot reach the lost by being like the lost. The world will see you as strange and speak evil of you (1 Peter 4:4). They will declare that you are not worthy of your job/your liberty/your life, because you are not like them. Higher judges override the lesser judges (appeal). Chasing after the things of this world, you will show up empty handed and smelling of smoke in heaven with nothing to offer. Do you care what the world thinks or what God thinks? Jesus: I did it all for you. What have you done for Me? Why be concerned about men, when I do not want to offend my Lord. Do your worst and then I will appeal this case to the Judge of judges. You will not get a fair ruling from men, but that is not the case in heaven's court. In heaven's court, you will get a fair judgement. 1 Peter 4: 16-17. If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed. Instead of concerning yourself with what men think, maybe consider what believers in God's Word, who love Him with their heart, mind, and strength, think of you. The judgement of God begins in the House of the Lord, the church. Paul lists what he was and who he is now after Christ. He is storing up in heaven and glories in beatings. Walk by faith and not by sight. There is an accounting judged by God. They will judge you, but you know their Judge. Help us to trust You as our Judge and not just as our Deliverer. Being in God's courtroom has eternal consequences.
