Judges 11: Finding God's Will
from Discover the Bible Hosted by Dr. James Harms
How does a believer in Christ know for certain what God's will is? Is there a formula or process revealed in the Bible to determine God's will? What about when we think we know what God's wants from us, but we are not ready to believe? In the book of Judges (Judges 6:34-40) we read about Gideon's process for making sure he had heard God correctly. This episode demonstrates that knowing God's will must be followed by obedience. We learn from the Bible that obedience comes from trusting God as our guide. Do you trust God to be your guide? Dr. James Harms is a pastor, Bible teacher, former college professor, photographer and college sports fan who leads others in the Discovery of Truth in the Bible.
