Judging vs Perceiving - Quest #5

from Geek Psychology: Play Life Better

Send me a textThis is the fifth video in a series that is slowly getting more into cognitive processes, MBTI, and the differences between all our wonderful types. In this video, I talk briefly about judging and perceiving. There are many stereotypes that people throw out there that take away from what's really going on under the surface. Hopefully I cleared some of them up! In the later videos, I'll go into the differences between introverted and extraverted judging and perceiving cognitive processes.Remember that the P or the J at the end of the MBTI code denotes which function is extraverted - if you're an introvert, it's not the one you lead with. INFP leads with introverted feeling (judging) and extraverts intuition (perceiving) as the auxiliary function.TL;DRYou use perceiving functions when you take in information and learn about things. You use judging functions when you organize your inner or outer world and make decisions. It's more complicated than that though, so you should probably just watch the video to start :PDisclaimer: This is all my understanding based on what I've studied in my spare time. Psychology and games are hobbies. If you disagree with anything I say, then let's talk about it :)Original video: https://youtu.be/yhfhSfEtGCY****Connect and Support Geek Psychology #geekpsychology ****FREE 8 Hero Personality Assessment: https://geekpsychology.com/ Support the Show.
