El evangelio de este jueves, al comienzo de la cuaresma, está tomado de San Lucas, 9, 22-25. Jesús anuncia a sus discípulos su pasión y su muerte, pero al mismo tiempo hace una llamada a TODOS los que quieran seguirle. Deben hacer tres cosas: negarse a sí mismo, tomar la cruz y seguirle. No hay cruz sin Cristo, como tampoco hay Cristo sin cruz. Termina el mismo Jesús, con una reflexión sobre ganar y perder. ¿Qué estamos dispuestos a perder para ganar?
