Jules Heron- Living Trans in the Hair Industry

@schedulicity and @hairdustry presents Your Day Off podcast- Jules Heron @hairforhumans - Motivated by not being able to find the right haircut Jules wanted to create a safe space for all guest in his chair. Over the course of his own exploration of gender identity, Jules recognized the frustration and discomfort of navigating gendered hair settings. This led to the creation of his business, Hair For Humans which seeks to support individuals of all gender identities and expressions in feeling seen and understood as clients. During this podcast some language is used to describe Jules’ experience of trans identity. While these terms are most comfortable for him, we recognize that no language will resonate with the whole of the LGBTQ+ community. We recognize that we’re all learning and growing as a community and are not immune to mistakes as we strive to learn more.
