ADHD comes with a very lovely side of guilt and shame."Julia is a therapist and certified ADHD-Clinical Services Provider who was diagnosed with ADHD in college after immigrating to the US from El Salvador.As a specialist who also has this diagnosis, she uniquely understands the innumerable ways that this neuro-developmental condition can impact every area of a person’s life as well as those around them. She specializes in helping adults who are coping with trauma, shame, anxiety, and low self-esteem as a result of undiagnosed and untreated ADHD.We talk about her history as a competitive swimmer in El Salvador, as well as how we tend to push ourselves to the point of exhaustion and burnout.
