Her third book, Matchstick Man, is a memoir about her former partner the artist Charlie Whisker and his Alzheimer's. She talks to Roisin Ingle about the book, which is a heart breaking and, at times, an uncomfortably honest account of the mental disintegration of a brilliant man and its effect on his family.
