In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Julia Stergiou. My name is Julia and I started Spiral on May 12th 2020. I started Spiral right after my family bakery shut down due to Covid. Back at the bakery I was doing all the behind the scenes from managing the stores, doing all the special media, taste testing for new menus, taking cake orders, the list goes on! I loved Sorelle and Come out!  (the bakery) with a burning passion. So when Sorelle shut down, I was devastated and decided to put that energy and passion into something of my own! Spiral started from me making custom tie dye clothing to now me creating my own women’s comfort and lifestyle brand! The evolution of my brand happened naturally and purposely from a place of passion! I love creating something that people love and find enjoyment in and I want to bring happiness within my brand! I also want to create a community to empower women and motivate one another! One of our main goals is to provide the more comfortable and best quality products available! It is also important for us to raise awareness of homelessness in Toronto and across the world! We donate a portion of every sale made to Youth Without Shelter in Toronto. We can all use a helping hand in tough situations and I believe raising awareness on this topic is important!
