Prior to Cigna, Dr. Harris served as an adviser to Google Ventures (GV) with a focus on tech-enabled health care services.In the public sector, Harris led the health care team in the White House Office of Management of Budget (OMB). As the federal government's Chief Health Care Finance Official, he had oversight of more than $1 trillion in spending in Medicare, Medicaid and a myriad other programs.
