Julian Lewis to Lead Buffaloes in 2026 | Colorado Buffaloes Football News

Julian Lewis, the electric four-star QB, is poised to lead the Colorado Buffaloes into the 2026 season—though not yet officially named starter, it’s a near-lock. After flashing big-play potential last year despite shaky coaching and a brutal 3-0 record when throwing over 10 passes, Lewis carries immense pressure to elevate this team. With new OC Brennan Marion, a loaded transfer portal class, and a stacked receiving corps, the offense’s ceiling hinges on his growth. Backup Isaac Wilson and freshman Kaneal Sweetwyne are in the mix, but Lewis is the clear focal point. Oddsmakers don’t believe in a big turnaround—projecting just 4.5 wins—but if Lewis steps up, this could be the year the Buffs break through. Coach Prime’s biggest fear? Repeating last year’s QB chaos. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
