After working for 15+ years with small- to medium-sized businesses in her own company, Julie-ann Pina found herself being thrown a very unexpected wrench in 2016 when she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Suffice to say, her life - and business - was turned upside down in an instant. But, despite the diagnosis, she was determined to keep her business going… she just didn’t know how. Trouble was, there weren’t any resources to be found on how to navigate the inevitable challenges that would arise (i.e. financial security questions, team shifts, and family dynamics, to name a few). So, Julie-ann pushed forward, feeling her way through and having both her and her company come out even stronger on the other side. Now Julie-ann is working as a Cancer Coach for Business Owners to help others being faced with a similar challenge learn how to best navigate through the changes so they can also thrive in all aspects of work and life.
