After university and four years of teaching music in Houston, Texas, she decided to move to Shanghai as a music teacher in 2018. Pops Gaming was born in January 2021, with a small birthday party at a sushi restaurant with sushi themed games. Since then it has grown into a massive community of folks, both offline and online, connecting over a myriad of events and forms of gaming.
