Two-no hitters were thrown, hall of famers to be Walter Johnson and Bob feller both tossed no-hitters, Johnson fired a 1-0 gem in 1920 vs the Boston Red Sox, losing a perfect game on Bucky Harris error, and in 1951 Feller got his 3rd career no-hitter, tying the record of Cy Young and Larry Corcoran as Cleveland beat Detroit 2-1 . . . Two historic Parks opened on July 1st, in 1910 White Sox field opens, the White Sox played to a crowd of 24,000 and lost 2-0 to the St. Louis Browns.
