Rebellious men are an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are His delight.” — Proverbs 19:28–29 (ESV)“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” — Luke 13:24 (ESV)“In that same hour some Pharisees came and said to him, ‘Get away from here, for Herod wants to kill you.’” — Luke 13:31 (ESV)________________________________________It’s easy to think that what you do on the outside doesn’t matter as much as how you feel inside—but the Bible shows that your heart and actions are closely connected. Proverbs 19 warns that lies, rebellion, and dishonesty bring destruction, while integrity brings delight to God. In Luke 13, Jesus talks about the urgency of choosing the right path and warns that not everyone who tries to follow Him will succeed. Even the Pharisees’ warnings couldn’t stop Him from living with purpose and doing what was right.Every choice you make—what you say, how you treat others, even how you spend your free time—reflects the condition of your heart. You can’t separate what you do from who you are. Following Jesus isn’t about checking off rules; it’s about letting Him shape your heart so your actions naturally reflect His love, truth, and wisdom.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1.
