Reading: Philippians 4: 8-9 Sermon Title: Good Trouble Pastor Kenny Bishop Congressman John Lewis was a man of integrity. His very presence was powerful because of his integrity. His words were powerful because of his integrity. He was trusted and believable because of his integrity. His life and character can be an example and motivation for all of us, but especially a church and faith community that is struggling today to be a voice with integrity. We are in the midst of a pivotal moment. After a series of unjust crimes against black men and women by renegade police officers, citizens of every color are taking to the streets and making their chants for justice and police reform known. And, in the midst of this, like so many other places of worship during this time, we are doing our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by live-streaming our services instead of meeting in person.
