July 2 – Build Yourself Up

In today’s episode, Pastor Brandon Dirmann shares a devotion from Jude 20, where believers are instructed to “build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” This message reminds listeners that spiritual growth is a personal responsibility that cannot be delegated to someone else. While pastors, teachers, and fellow believers can encourage and equip us, no one else can cultivate our relationship with God on our behalf. Pastor Brandon challenges listeners to intentionally invest in the spiritual disciplines that strengthen faith, including spending time in God's Word, prayer, worship, fellowship with other believers, and seasons of fasting. Just as physical strength diminishes without consistent exercise, spiritual maturity requires continual attention and intentionality. Rather than settling for yesterday's growth, believers are called to keep building their faith day by day, trusting that God will continue the work He has begun in them.
