July 2 — The Fall of Proud Nations and the Rise of Faithful Reform — Chronological Audio Bible Reading | Isaiah 21; 23; 34; 2 Kings 16, 18; 2 Chronicles 28 | Resolved to Read

In today's reading from Isaiah 21:11-17; 34:5-17; 23:1-18; 2 Kings 16:7-20; 18:3-7; and 2 Chronicles 28:22-29, we see a stark contrast between human pride and covenant faithfulness. Nations like Edom and Tyre face judgment, Ahaz sinks deeper into idolatry even in his distress, but Hezekiah begins to walk in trust and obedience before the Lord. Together these passages remind us that earthly power, wealth, and false worship will all fall, but those who cling to the Lord will find the only foundation that stands.Resolved to Read is a daily chronological Bible podcast guiding you through Scripture in one year—with short readings, quiet moments of reflection, and warm, every‑other‑week conversations that bring faith to life.Join the journey, stay consistent in God’s Word, and grow spiritually one day at a time.📖 Subscribe on your favorite podcast app or watch on YouTube. 🎧 Listen daily + find the full reading plan by following along in the Daily Bible in Chronological Order edited by F.
