July 29, 2018 - 2 Corinthians 9:8 - 11 - "You Can Be Generous! You've Got It All!"

This week we notice how generous the Lord is when he provides for his people. After he rescued the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, they grumbled about their food supply. The Lord responded by providing meat every evening and bread every morning for the whole community. No one was left hungry! The Lord Jesus showed the same generosity to a crowd of 5000 men (plus women and children). He gave them so much to eat, his disciples were able to gather twelve baskets full of leftovers. Such a generous Lord promises blesses us so abundantly, he enables each of us to “be generous on every occasion.” When we share what we’ve been given, others will give thanks to God.
