Sometimes it feels like everyone’s trying to pull you in different directions, from friends, social media, or even self-doubt. Proverbs 20:27–28 reminds us that God looks at our hearts, and our inner life matters to Him. Colossians 2 warns us about being influenced by empty ideas that distract us from Christ, while also reminding us that God has made us alive, forgiven, and secure in Him.Your heart and mind are like a lamp—they show where your life is really headed. The choices you make, the thoughts you dwell on, and the values you embrace either bring freedom or captivity.
