July 30th, 2017 - International Surf Festival

Adam Sandler, Media Director, joins us on 5900 Wilshire. The International Surf Festival will honor heroic Lifeguards by presenting them with Medals of Valor at a special dinner on August 2nd. Festival events include Surfing Championships, Volleyball Tournaments, a Dory Race, a Beach Run, Rescue Demonstrations, a Pier to Pier Swim and Sandcastle Contest all taking place between August 3rd and August 6th. The International Surf Festival is presented by BEACHSPORT.org, the Chambers of Commerce and Cities of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Los Angeles County Fire Department and Department of Beaches and Harbors.
