July 5 – Don't Drift Away

In today’s episode, Pastor Robert Rosales shares a devotion from Hebrews 2:1, where believers are urged to "pay much closer attention" to what they have heard so that they do not drift away. Using the picture of a ship slowly carried past a safe harbor by an unnoticed current, this passage reminds us that spiritual drift rarely happens through deliberate rebellion. More often, it occurs gradually through neglect and inattention. Pastor Robert encourages listeners to guard against becoming complacent or assuming they have already learned everything they need to know. Instead, believers are called to remain teachable and faithfully practice the spiritual disciplines that keep their hearts anchored in Christ, such as reading God's Word, prayer, worship, fellowship with other believers, and serving others.
