You might be waiting for answers about your future, for friendships to heal, or just for God to show up in a way that feels real. In Psalm 77, the writer is deep in sorrow, but he doesn’t stay stuck in his feelings. Instead, he remembers God’s past faithfulness. That shift in focus gives him hope. Proverbs 19 warns us not to waste the waiting with laziness or distraction—idleness can starve your soul. And in Luke 6, Jesus challenges us to live with purpose even in the hard moments: love radically, forgive freely, and keep doing good—especially when it’s tough.
