July 7 - Why Faith?
from The KJD Devotional Podcast Hosted by Dr Olujide Arije
Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith is the only way to walk with God, who we cannot see physically. God has made it such that without faith, it is impossible to receive anything from Him. To receive from God, we must believe Him, believe His Word, and believe in His Word. The Word of God to us are instructions of faith to stir up faith in us. When we receive those instructions by believing them, faith is stirred up. When we act according to what we have believed, our faith is complete, and we reap the fruits of our faith.
