July 9 | When You're Scared to Try | Carpooling with Jesus Devotional for Kids

Hey Carpool Crew,   Twisty stomach, feet that won't move. Every kid knows the feeling of wanting to try something and being scared to. Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin opens Isaiah 41:10, where God says I will be with you, I will strengthen you, I will hold on to you. The Bible never tells kids to feel brave out of nowhere. It tells them God is with them, and that's where the brave comes from.   This Thursday episode hands kids three things to try this week: take one small first step toward a thing they've been scared of, whisper a one-sentence prayer right before the scary part, and learn that you take the step with God first and the brave shows up on the way.
