JULY GRATITUDE AND CROSS OVER

📖 Scripture “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” — Psalm 136:1 Devotional Message As the month of July comes to an end, it is a time to pause, reflect, and give thanks to God for His faithfulness. Gratitude is a spiritual attitude that recognizes God's hand in every season—the victories, the lessons, the challenges, and the moments of grace that carried us through. We do not cross into a new season because we are strong enough on our own; we cross over because God has been faithful. His mercy has sustained us, His grace has strengthened us, and His mighty hand has guided us every step of the way. Throughout Scripture, God's people marked seasons of transition with gratitude and remembrance. The Israelites celebrated God's deliverance. Samuel raised an altar called Ebenezer, declaring, “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.” Their gratitude became a testimony of God's faithfulness. As you reflect on July, remember: Thank God for the battles He helped you overcome. Thank God for the prayers He answered. Thank God for the prayers He is still working on. Thank God for the doors He opened and the ones He closed for your protection. Thank God for the strength He provided when you felt weak. Crossing over requires faith. A new season demands a heart that trusts God beyond what is visible. Do not enter the future carrying the fears and disappointments of the past. Release what is behind you and embrace what God is preparing ahead. God's faithfulness in July is a reminder that He will remain faithful in the months ahead. Walk forward with expectation. Carry gratitude in your heart. Hold on to God's promises. Trust His direction. The same God who brought you through July is the God who will lead you into greater possibilities. Today, Ask Yourself What can I thank God for as I close this month, and what am I trusting Him to do in my next season? Prayer Almighty Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness throughout July. Thank You for Your protection, provision, strength, and unfailing love. As I cross into a new season, help me to move forward with gratitude, faith, and confidence in Your promises. Remove every fear from my heart and guide me into the plans You have prepared for me. May the coming days reveal more of Your glory and goodness in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
