Just like last month, my brother James and I decided to do a podcast episode just about how we were doing and things we got out of the month. You guys seemed to like it, so we are doing it again! We broke our conversation down into wins, lessons learned, and plans for next month. If you do not like this we don't need to do it again. Feel free to let us now what you think through Instagram @YieldTodayWithDallinPodcastFollow-Up:Dallin - I was able to finish the semester strong, but unfortunately I did not put much work into the podcast calendar. My systems for life have proved, but nothing super specific.James - He was able to get his animation/world building/other nerdy stuff podcast started up (although it has not quite launched yet). Other than that he was focused on finishing up the semester strong like I was.Dallin's July Wins:I was able to get out of my apartment earlier than I was planning on, which effectively made it so my semester ended earlier and with less stress. It took a lot of work, but it was worth it! James' July Wins:Getting his comic done for one of his classes.Dallin's July Lessons:Tech is often easy to replace, whereas relationships and people are impossible to replace.James' July Lessons:The importance of taking opportunities to catch up that people give you.The power of getting started Dallin's August Plans:Do well in Stukent internshipMaybe do some writing James' August PlansWork on podcastCome up with more ideas for his show Do his Animagus special IG art challenge and build up community on there. Check out more from James:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bitbybitjames/?hl=enYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMWJVV1_dCGsDxZZLKPgjfgPodcast: Rupees Over Ramen - https://open.spotify.com/show/3S14EAMOWiFYn8jfqsj31H?si=PhnQYYaCQjii5VlUrfb12g&utm_source=copy-link&dl_branch=1Time Stamps:0:30 – Intro9:50 – Plans for the next monthQuotes:"If you fail to plan you may be planning to fail, but not always.""The brain is for having ideas not storing them."PS: Around 11:30 PM last night I was editing this and decided to go to bed about half an hour earlier so I could wake up early. This allowed me to finish editing the podcast, without sacrificing the day I wanted to have today (July 30th). This was definitely a win but I do apologize for the podcast coming out a bit later than I'd planned. Thanks for understanding and feel free to let me know how you're doing as well. @dreamchaserdallin is my personal IG if you would like to reach me directly. Thanks!Support the show
