In the book of Proverbs, a son is exhorted to heed his father’s instruction, and the application of the knowledge learned is called wisdom.  Solomon tells us that the basis of all true knowledge is the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7), meaning the awe and reverence for the holiness and majesty of God and a reluctance to disappoint or disobey Him. Although our time spent together was primarily from the practical and physiological aspects, all wisdom and knowledge begin with Him.
