June 10, 2025 - Texas Softball Claims National Championship

The Texas Longhorns went to Oklahoma City with an opportunity to exorcise several demons, knocking off Oklahoma and Tennessee to set up this weekend's matchup with old rival Texas Tech and star pitcher NiJaree Canady. It took all three games of the championship series to get it done, but the Longhorns hoisted their first-ever softball trophy in Oklahoma City. With that win locked up, we also brought in Brett Wilkinson, the man behind Director's Cupdates to let us know what needs to happen this weekend for Texas to claim its fourth Director's Cup in five years.
