June 14 - We are Superheros
from The KJD Devotional Podcast Hosted by Dr Olujide Arije
Christians are superheroes, and we have two sets of superpowers. The first set is the fruit of the spirit that we discussed yesterday. The other set of superpowers that we possess as believers are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are supernatural enablement given to us by the Spirit to benefit ourselves and the people around us. We live in a world where there are adversaries, especially the devil and his cohorts. They are the villains. They come against us in many ways, so the Holy Spirit gives us special powers to stand against them in order to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and those within the sphere of our influence.
