June 16, 2020 - Unpacking the Potential Changes

On Friday, several Texas Longhorns from multiple sports posted in unison a list of requests of the university, with the aim of making changes on campus and in the athletic programs. Renaming buildings and structures, highlighting different aspects of the university's history - both positive and negative, allocating resources to social programs and outreach, as well as the potential change of the school song. As two Texas graduates, we take some time to unpack our feelings on the potential changes and discuss what we think the potential changes coming to the university.
