It might feel like a way to protect yourself, but Proverbs 18:1 warns that isolating ourselves leads us away from wisdom. When we stop listening to others and only care about saying what we think, we’re more likely to make poor choices.Psalm 70 is a cry for help—a reminder that we need God, and we need His people. And Exodus 23 reminds us how important it is to act with integrity, especially in how we speak and treat others. God calls us to live in community with truth and justice, not selfishness or isolation.We weren’t made to go solo. Whether it’s struggling through something hard, fighting off temptation, or just trying to figure out life, God designed us to need Him and need each other. Wise friends, parents, mentors, and Scripture help guide us.
