June 21 – The Pillar and Foundation of Truth

In today’s episode, Pastor Cory Barnes shares a devotion from 1 Timothy 3:14–15, where Paul describes the church as “the pillar and foundation of the truth.” Writing to Timothy as he addressed false teaching and restored order within the church at Ephesus, Paul emphasizes the tremendous significance of the church in God’s plan. This message reminds listeners that the church is far more than a weekly gathering or a social organization—it is the body and bride of Christ, entrusted with holding up the truth of the gospel to a broken world. Pastor Cory challenges believers to guard against becoming so familiar with church life that they lose sight of its sacred purpose. Rather than approaching the church with casual indifference, believers are called to recognize the privilege and responsibility of being part of God’s household.
