June 9 – Living in the Light

In today’s episode, Pastor Cory Barnes shares a devotion from Ephesians 5, where Paul calls believers to imitate God and live as His children. This message highlights the contrast Paul draws between light and darkness, particularly in the areas of morality, purity, and godly living. Pastor Cory reminds listeners that while the world may attempt to redefine or excuse behaviors that Scripture clearly identifies as sin, followers of Jesus are called to remain anchored in God’s Word rather than in popular opinion or persuasive arguments. At the same time, believers are not called to respond with hostility or condemnation toward others, but with humility, prayer, and a sincere desire to see people encounter the transforming truth of Christ.
