June Happenings- Pride month, Juneteenth, and Father's Day

The ladies kick off the show talking about their busy weeks: Kristen had meeting in Saratoga Springs and Sharon spent some family time in Amagansett. Kristen also talks about the Discover Long Island Live Stream with the Urbanist in Port Jefferson last Wednesday (check it out on YouTube!)For “Tea Time” Kristen spills the tea about her new family member: a yorkie named “Lil Thomas!” Sharon recommends Joyco shampoo for all the “blondies” out there. On #LongIslandLife, the ladies tell a story about LGBQT history that happened on Long Island in Fire Island Pines. They also talk about some Juneteenth events happening all over Long Island this weekend. The ladies give Uncorked Advice to a listener looking for Father’s Day “experience” gifts, which leads them into some of their favorite Father’s Day gift ideas. Today they are sipping on a deliciously smooth Cab Franc from beautiful Sannino Vineyard. TIMESTAMPS:1:15 How you Doin'13:26 Wine of the Week15:45 Tea Time46:20 HotTeas22:54: #LongIslandLife36:29: Uncorked Advice ABOUT LONG ISLAND TEA:For more details on our show, visit https://discoverlongisland.com/tea. TAG US!@DiscoverLongIsland and @LongIslandTeaPodcast so we can follow your adventures and give you a shoutout. WINE OF THE WEEK:Sannino Vineyard: 2018 Cabernet FrancThis is our first release of the limited 2018 vintage. This Cabernet Franc strays from the classic black pepper and green bell pepper tones, as it expresses subtle floral aromas and smooth butterscotch on the palate. With the use of primarily new French oak barrique barrels, this soft red is complex while not overwhelming.https://www.sanninovineyard.com/ LI Tea’s WOTW Deal:Buy One, Get one Free Tasting at McCall Winery ($20 value)Long Island Tea is sponsored by Long Island Wine Country.
