Juneteenth Celebrations in Orange County
from Irvine News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Juneteenth kicked off with a vibrant OC celebration at Irvine’s Great Park — live music, dancing dads, jump rope battles, and families soaking in freedom’s spirit. Hosted by BIPOC Orange County, it was part of a weekend-long tribute honoring emancipation and Black culture. And the party’s not over — catch Gospel Voices of OC on June 27th at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, a benefit concert blending choral, dance, spoken word, and digital art to honor resilience, unity, and the enduring power of Black joy.
